Together with an acting partner, Kissel Ventures GmbH purchased the former "Racke" site in Bingen am Rhein in 2014. The former large winery comprises an extensive building complex with a surface area of 12,000 sqm. In the coming years, a unique place for working and living will be created here. The anchor tenant is the Kissel-Ventures investment Viprinet. In addition to other innovative start-ups, new investments of Kissel Ventures GmbH will also be located here in the future. Further co-investors are welcome for the overall project.

Viprinet

Viprinet is a medium-sized manufacturer of innovative IT network technology. Today, the company is the market leader in the field of highly fail-safe Internet connections for companies. Originally founded in 2006 by Simon Kissel on the basis of an invention made by him, Viprinet now employs around 50 people. Since 2014, in addition to the parent company in Bingen am Rhein, there has been a branch office in Sunnyvale, California, in the heart of the "Silicon Valley". The shareholders include the co-founders as well as strategic and financial investors. Kissel Ventures GmbH holds an absolute majority of the voting shares.

Through its participation in Viprinet Europe GmbH, Kissel Ventures also indirectly holds the associated shares in the US subsidiary Viprinet Americas Inc. this subsidiary has been building up the business for Viprinet products in the North American market since 2014. Kissel Ventures GmbH holds the absolute majority of the voting shares.

Nerdherrschaft GmbH is active in the field of research and development. With his development team, Simon Kissel invents and develops innovations and products here, which are then spun off into new companies when they are ready for the market. The company also acts as a development service provider for the Kissel Ventures portfolio companies. "Herrschaft" ist German for "mastery". Simon describes himself as such, and in building his development team relies exclusively on nerds, who have dedicated themselves to technology since their earliest childhood and would never develop anything they couldn't be proud of.
